Vusi Matse – Founder, Spark To Star
Vusi Matse, the visionary founder of Spark To Star, is deeply connected to the Mangweni community where he grew up and attended Inkomazi Secondary School. As a Chartered Accountant and seasoned business advisor, Vusi has dedicated himself to creating opportunities for young people to thrive. Driven by his own journey and desire to give back, he established Spark To Star to recognize and support students in reaching their full potential. Through initiatives like the Mangweni Academic Excellence Awards, Vusi’s goal is to inspire students to excel, empowering them to pursue higher education and believe in their ability to shape their futures.
Thandeka – Director, Spark To Star
As the Director of Spark To Star, Thandeka brings her expertise and dedication to empowering young minds. A Chartered Accountant with extensive experience. Her leadership is instrumental in driving Spark To Star’s mission of nurturing talent, fostering growth, and promoting excellence within the Mangweni community. Thandeka’s commitment to education and community development aligns with the organization’s vision to inspire hope, resilience, and ambition in every student.
